About

I’m Melissa Grant, a wife, a mom, and the person behind Good Health Recipes. Cooking has been part of my daily life for many years, both at home and earlier in my career when I worked in a restaurant kitchen. When that restaurant closed during the pandemic, I stepped away from professional kitchens and returned fully to home cooking, focusing on food that works in everyday life.

Good Health Recipes grew out of that shift. I wasn’t trying to recreate restaurant-style meals or follow trends. The site focuses on the food people actually cook and the practical questions that come up along the way. Over time, friends and family kept asking about ingredients, timing, substitutions, and why the same recipe doesn’t always turn out the same way. This site grew naturally from those conversations.

The Recipes section centers on four everyday categories: breakfast, appetizers, dinner, and dessert. These recipes are written for home kitchens, standard tools, and realistic schedules. They’re meant to be dependable, flexible, and easy to follow.

Good Health Recipes is built from a home kitchen perspective, with a focus on clarity, consistency, and food that fits into real routines.
