With only 10 minutes of prep time and a cook time of just 1 hour, you can have a delicious meal on the table in no time. The total cooking time for this recipe is 1 hour and 10 minutes, but trust us when we say it’s well worth the wait.

Add a few tablespoons of oil to two large skillets or saucepans over medium-high heat, as this will help prevent the meat from sticking. In one pan, add ground beef and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook for a few minutes until the meat is nicely browned but not burnt, then transfer it to a plate and set aside. Add the remaining tablespoon of oil to the same skillet and reduce heat to medium. Now it’s time to cook the aromatics – add onions and cook until translucent, around 5 minutes.
